STANDING ON THE SHOULDERS OF GIANTS
Our Work
As a Social Enterprise, our work is rooted in the belief that a purpose-driven economy can foster a more democratic and socially inclusive society.
We strive to bridge the gap between knowledge and action by pioneering innovative social enterprise models and making high-quality research on this economic structure widely accessible, with a particular focus on empowering women.
We will work through three interconnected mandates: promoting social enterprise models that prioritize social outcomes over profit, conducting rigorous research and advocacy to inform policy, and expanding access to research and economic opportunity for women.
Together, these activities create a continuous cycle where research informs practice, practice generates new insights, and both drive meaningful policy and systems change.
Our Founder
Rina Vololoniaina Ralaidovy is a researcher, strategist, and advocate committed to building a more democratic, inclusive, and purpose-driven economy. With expertise spanning management sciences, social sciences, organizational leadership, and human development, her work bridges rigorous academic research with real-world social impact, both in Madagascar and internationally.
Rina founded Regi Consilium to address a systemic gap she witnessed throughout her career: the need for economic models that truly serve society, and the urgent necessity of making research and social enterprise opportunities accessible to women and other marginalized groups. Her vision anchors the organization’s mission to connect knowledge with action by promoting social enterprise models rooted in democratic participation, evidence-based policy, and gender equity.
Across senior leadership roles, Rina has built a track record of transforming organizations, strengthening ecosystems, and championing inclusive development. Her operational and strategic leadership has supported emerging enterprises, influenced national initiatives, and empowered young professionals through education and mentorship.
Academically, she brings a distinguished research background supported by multiple scholarships and Magna Cum Laude honors. Her work spans the social economy, youth engagement in democratic processes, and inclusion across the working lifespan. She has contributed to international research projects, authored publications, and led workshops on equity, inclusion, and social innovation.
Her commitment to community is reflected in her long-standing service as a trustee, board member, and through DEI advocate in Madagascar, Belgium and France. With Regi Consilium, Rina continues to pioneer new pathways where research informs enterprise, enterprise fuels evidence, and both advance a more socially inclusive and purpose-driven economic future.
